Responsibilities:

Coordinate activities of quality assurance engineers for financial brokerage system specifically ensuring a smooth conversion of all users to the new platform. Act as liaison between the end users, development personnel and QA team associated with the project. Lead, manage, and supervise a testing team to accomplish specific objectives in a given time frame, returning a specific value to the business. Review business and system requirements documents to aid in writing functionality, regression, data integrity, and browser after establishing business and data workflow. Provide automated reporting of tests and test results from regular (at least nightly) builds that allow for quantitative tracking of project quality and completeness. Work closely with business team and Senior Management to resolve open issues and advise the business team on enhancements for the application. Oversee compliance of engineers with architecture, best practices, and coding standards through testing and audits and as a reviewer of those documents and artifacts. Oversee audit of compliance of implementation with specification through automated test suite.

Qualifications:

· Six or more years of relevant technical experience in application design,   development and testing.
· Two or more years of experience in trade processing, Books and records   reporting.
· Use Case Analysis, Object Oriented Design, Business Component   Modeling,   and knowledge of the Rational Rose suite of project methodology   tools.
· Knowledge of design of test script/ result repository, development of manual and   automated test scripts, test script execution, and defect reporting /   retesting.
· Testing experience in brokerage application.
· Leverage business knowledge across the organization including the facilitation   of continuous quality improvements. Identify and mentor best practices, educate
   and support all phases of the project life.
· Effective hands-on leader with Excel, XML, Oracle, UNIX, C/C++, and scripting   skills.
· Ability to manage junior resources and train them to be effective at system   integration and interface testing.
· Understanding of system integration test related issues as they relate to   business and technical architecture and implementation.
· Experience with automated testing tools.
· Good writing skills, organizational skills, and articulate speaker.
