Responsibilities:
Interact with development team to gather functional and technical specifications to aid in the testing effort. Assist in performance, volume, negative/destructive testing. Develop and execute unit, and integration test cases to execute full system, interface, and end-to-end testing for each trading function. Perform testing to verify that all results confirm to system requirements. Manage defect-tracking process. Provide reporting of tests and test results from regular builds to the test lead. Work with the Test Lead to oversee system packaging and deployment process.
Qualifications:
· At least
5 years of Quality Assurance and Business Analysis Experience
· Strong understanding of Quality Assurance,
Defect Tracking, Configuration Management
· Experience in multiple interface testing
· Experience with automated testing tools and
defect tracking systems.
· Knowledgeable in business requirement gathering
· An understanding of the Institutional Trade
Flow and Trade Processing business, i.e. knowledge of
Electronic Trade Confirmation, Straight Through Processing
(STP), and the current industry initiatives affecting
these areas.
· Understanding of system integration test related
issues as they relate to business and technical architecture
and implementation.
· Excellent interpersonal, communications, and
presentation skills.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
